Welcome

Welcome to my private website. Not a site which has the intention to draw millions of visitors but mainly a site to keep some stuff I would like to share with people.

There are some weblinks which people might enjoy (check out the aluminium foil beanie!) and every now and then you will find a bunch of pictures from recent trips.

Just sit back and have a look around!

Last summer we finally got to visit the Painted Desert Trading Post along the old Route66. As a belated birthday present I got one of my favorite photographs of the trading post tattooed on my left arm. I am very happy with it!

For my birthday I got a short vacation to the former Eastern Germany. In a small town close to Erfurt we visitted a Trabant museum where you can rent a Trabant for a short trip. An whole new experience I can tell you! The one we got was Trabant 601 DeLuxe although I fail to see what luxury there is on the car!

Virginia City is an old town in Nevada which we visitted a few years ago. The website 'Legends of America' did a nice article on the town, worth reading!
